Mission RCMP deem Superstore shooting likely gang-related, share suspect vehicle photo

Mounties in Mission say a recent shooting is likely tied to the BC Gang Conflict and have shared a photo of the suspect’s vehicle.

The shooting took place on Dec. 6 outside of a Superstore near Lougheed Highway and Wren Street, when a 41-year-old man was shot multiple times inside of his vehicle.

The Mission RCMP says the suspect vehicle was found burned in Surrey later that night.

The shooting victim was seriously injured and is now recovering in hospital. Mounties say he is known to police.

The suspects were seen fleeing in a newer Jaguar SUV, police say, and not a Dodge Durango that was seen leaving the parking lot. Mounties say the woman driving this Dodge Durango left the parking lot in a hurry with her daughter after hearing gunshots.

Police say they are actively investigating the shooting, but no one has been arrested yet.

Mounties ask anyone who saw a grey Jaguar SUV or the shooting itself to call the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.
