Metro Vancouver gas prices dip heading into Christmas

As drivers gear up for the holiday season, now may be the perfect time to fuel up for long road trips ahead.

Gas prices are hovering around the $1.60 per litre mark in Vancouver, according to GasBuddy’s website. In Surrey, prices are hovering around $1.55 per litre and in Chilliwack, prices have dropped to a startling $1.43 per litre.

These prices are for Petro, Centex and Husky stations, GasBuddy says.

This is the second lowest average gas price across British Columbia this year, according to GasBuddy. The lowest was in January.
