Police in New Westminster are thanking a “kindhearted commuter” who found a missing dog that was in a vehicle that was stolen early Monday morning.
The New Westminster Police Department says a black 2012 Fiat 500 was taken early Monday morning from Carnarvon Street near Blackie Street.
“Good news! Zoey the Boarder Collie was found by a kindhearted commuter,” NWPD shared in an update.
It notes the vehicle is still yet to be found.
Police are now urging anyone who sees the vehicle to call 911.
