Shots fired at Surrey home early Thursday, Mounties say

Surrey RCMP say they were called out to the south part of the city just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday after receiving reports of shots fired at a residence on 154 Street near 28 Avenue.

When officers got to the home, they found “evidence consistent with a shooting.”

Pictures show what appear to be bullet holes on the home and on a white Tesla parked in the driveway.

No injuries were reported, police say.

“Investigators believe this was an isolated incident,” the RCMP said in a statement. “Officers are still working to determine the motive of this incident.”

The investigation has been turned over to the Surrey RCMP Major Crime Section.

Police are asking anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file 2024-15076.

This is a developing story.
