2 Vancouver bars among list of North America’s 50 best

Two Vancouver bars have made a list of the ‘world’s best’ for 2024.

The U.K. media group, William Reed publishes an annual list of ‘The World’s 50 Best’ restaurants and bars. This year, Vancouver’s Botanist and The Keefer Bar ranked among the highest in North America.

Botanist, a bar within the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in downtown Vancouver placed 24th on the list. The World’s 50 Best described Botanist as a “sophisticated space that feels as bright and airy” and “draws inspiration from the natural bounty of the Pacific Northwest.”

The aptly named Keefer Bar on Chinatown’s Keefer Street made the 49th spot on the list. It was described as an “institution of the city.”

Botanist also made the list in 2023. In 2022, The Keefer Bar ranked 25th.
