Stanley Park Causeway, Lions Gate Bridge reopen after closure by fallen tree

Traffic has reopened in both directions after crews removed a fallen tree that closed the Stanley Park Causeway.

Reports say an approximately 80-foot tree fell near the opening of the Lions Gate Bridge around 2 p.m., Tuesday. The tree has been cleared from the road.

The Vancouver Police Department says drivers in the area can still expect delays as congestion begins to ease.

Reports show slowed traffic getting off the North Shore in general, with delays on the Upper Levels Highway all the way back to 15th street.
