“Although the cause of his death has not been confirmed, VPD’s Major Crime Section is collecting evidence to determine whether the death was the result of a crime,” the VPD said in a statement.

“These two men were seen with the deceased prior to his death,” Const. Tania Visintin added. “We believe these men may have important information about what happened, and we’d like to speak with them.”

“We don’t know what type of involvement these two men had with this man, we don’t know their relationship. So, we’re appealing to the public to look at these images. If you recognize these men please call our investigators.”

Police describe both men as being between 25 and 35 years old.

“One man had a long brown/grey full beard. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey shorts and a grey-coloured baseball cap. The other man had a short-haired goatee. He was wearing a two-toned grey tank top with the number ’86’ on the front and a light-coloured baseball cap,” police shared.

Anyone with information about the death is being asked to call the VPD at 604-717-2500.
