Portion of downtown Vancouver SkyTrain route reopens after closure due to mechanical issue

While the Stones may be rolling in downtown Vancouver, the SkyTrain was not — for part of Friday evening.

A portion of the Canada Line SkyTrain route downtown closed Friday evening for a couple hours due to a mechanical issue near Yaletown-Roundhouse Station, but it has since reopened.

TransLink said a “Bus Bridge” was assisting usual service between Broadway City Hall and Waterfront stations, and a shuttle train was in effect between Waterfront and Olympic Village stations.
