Alex Fraser crash creates major delays

A crash on the Alex Fraser Bridge created significant delays for the Wednesday afternoon rush.

The crash, in the southbound lanes at the south end of the bridge, has cleared as of 4:30 p.m.

Traffic was backed up to Westminster Highway, with heavy delays in the surrounding areas until late Wednesday afternoon.

Delays were also building at the Massey Tunnel and on the Queensborough Bridge as people look to avoid the crash.

Around 5:30 p.m., traffic in the surrounding area returned to normal volume.
