Lions Gate Bridge reopens after police incident

Police temporarily closed the Lions Gate Bridge Thursday morning.

Closed after 4:30 a.m., the bridge reopened to traffic just after 8 a.m.

While closed, all traffic was being diverted from the route in both North Vancouver and Vancouver.

Traffic volume is still heavy in the area. You can take the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge as an alternate route.
