GranFondo race kicks off Saturday a.m.; watch for delays into the afternoon

The RBC GranFondo race kicked off Saturday morning, with around 5,000 cyclists hitting the road for a 122-kilometre race along Highway 99 all the way up to Whistler.
Riders take the Lions Gate Bridge and the Sea to Sky Highway on their trek.
DriveBC warns drivers to watch for the cyclists along Highway 99, with the race starting at Vancouver’s Stanley Park
Motorists through the area are advised to give themselves extra travel time and expect heavy delays.
