Vancouver Police investigating DTES shooting

Police in Vancouver say a man was found on Wednesday night with what appears to be gunshot wounds.

While details of the incident are scarce, the Vancouver Police Department says the man was found near Main Street and East Hastings Street around 6 p.m.

The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Const. Tania Visitin told 1130 NewsRadio.

“No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.”
