Vancouver SkyTrain service restored between Granville, Waterfront stations

SkyTrain service on a section of the Expo line between Granville Station and Waterfront Station has been restored after police incidents Wednesday morning.

TransLink announced the service interruption around 10 a.m. Around 10:30 a.m., TransLink announced it is resuming regular service “with some residual delays as trains return to regular frequencies.”

The Metro Vancouver Transit Police tells 1130 NewsRadio that two individuals jumped onto tracks. One, at Stadium-Chinatown Station, was reportedly taken into custody. The other jumped onto the tracks at Granville Station and ran from police onto Burrard Street.

TransLink says the Millennium and Canada lines were unaffected.
