Sea to Sky highway reopens after Sunday afternoon crash

The Sea to Sky Highway was partially closed in both directions due to a crash late Sunday afternoon.

DriveBC says the collision happened between Copper Drive and Murrin Lake Provincial Park just after 3:30 p.m.



“BC Highway Patrol (BCHP), Squamish RCMP, and BC Emergency Health Services (BC EHS) attended and assisted on seen. The injured individuals have all been transported to lower mainland hospitals for various injuries. The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) was called out to assist with the investigation,” Mounties shared.

The road was closed for almost 12 hours, reopening to traffic in both directions at around 2 a.m.

Mounties are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Squamish RCMP at 604-892-6100.
