Mounties say four Tesla chargers were among the cache of alleged stolen goods officers found after searching a Richmond home earlier this month.
The Richmond RCMP says it received a report in February, claiming a cable used for charging a Tesla vehicle had been stolen from a garage on No. 3 Road.
Investigators identified a suspect and executed a search warrant at a home on Greenfield Drive on March 5 and seized several items Mounties allege were stolen.
Police say the items include packages addressed to other homes, a big cache of tools, and four Tesla chargers.
The suspect was reportedly arrested but has since been released.
The Richmond RCMP is reminding residents to record the serial numbers on their valued possessions.
“Having a serial number allows police to easily identify and return recovered stolen goods to their rightful owner,” said Cpl. Ryan Lee.
Anyone with more information about the seized items or alleged thefts are asked to call Mounties at 604-278-1212 and quote file number 2025-5211.
