Shots fired in Langley: man hospitalized, road closures in place

The Langley RCMP says it’s investigating after shots were fired near Meadows Edge Park.
Mounties say they first received reports of gunshots just after 5:30 p.m., at Willoughby Way and 200 Street in the Langley Meadows neighbourhood.

According to police, a 48-year-old man was injured and taken to the hospital in a non-life-threatening condition for assessment.
“The investigation is still in its early stages, and police are working to determine the possible motive for the shooting,” said Sharoom. “Motorists and other road users can expect road closures in the area as we continue our investigation.”
