Cultus Lake residents able to use water after earlier sewer main break

Residents of a community in the Fraser Valley are once again able to use water.

The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) said Thursday afternoon that a sewer main break in Cultus Lake’s water and sewer system had caused an electrical issue at its water pump house.

The restriction was lifted a few hours after it was put in place.

“The Cultus Lake Water and Sewer System sewer main break is now repaired,” the FVRD posted on social media shortly before 5 p.m.

“The public is now able to use the water and sewer systems once again.”
