Reported theft at Semiahmoo Mall in Surrey

A broad daylight theft has left White Rock Jewellers in Semiahmoo Mall at a $100,000 loss. As Joe Sadowski reports, this comes just days after reopening their business after it was closed because of a similar incident.

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says officers are currently responding to calls regarding a reported theft at Semiahmoo Mall in Surrey.

According to police, officers arrived at the scene shortly after 5:40 p.m.

Posts on social media claim the theft happened at White Rock Jewellers.

It is unclear what may have been stolen, but police say they are currently investigating.

SPS says there is “no further information available at this time.”
