The team will play its inaugural season with just the word ‘Vancouver’ printed across the Pacific blue and cream-coloured jersey — which also features bands of bronze.

So far, the PWHL has not announced a team logo or name. Among those reportedly being considered for Vancouver are the ‘Griffins,’ the ‘Breakers,’ and the ‘Glaciers.’

The league first announced expansion to Vancouver in April, amid its second season. Expansion to Seattle was announced later that month, making eight total teams.

Vancouver’s team will hit the ice for its first game on Friday Nov. 21, when they host Seattle at the Pacific Coliseum.
