Surrey police investigating knife incident

Police say an incident in Surrey’s Whalley neighbourhood concluded Monday afternoon without risk to public safety.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says multiple officers responded to reports of a “person possibly armed with a knife.”
Shortly before 3:15 p.m. on Monday, callers to 1130 NewsRadio reported seeing several police cruisers near King George Boulevard and 105 Avenue in Surrey.

He adds that there is no ongoing risk to the public.
