Crash cleared on Alex Fraser Bridge southbound; expect delays due to remaining volume

A crash involving a flatbed truck and a car on the Alex Fraser Bridge southbound Thursday afternoon has been cleared, but drivers should expect heavy delays due to remaining volume.

The collision was at the north end of the bridge, with the southbound left three lanes blocked. These have now been cleared.

The crash had traffic backing up on Highway 91 out of Richmond, and the 91A was slow all the way from the Queensborough Bridge in New Westminster.

Northbound traffic was unaffected.

Use Highway 99 as an alternate route as volume clears.
