BURNABY (NEWS 1130) – Drugs and weapons have been taken off the streets of Burnaby — among them, a baseball bat with nails driven through it and a machete.
Mounties began a drug trafficking investigation last month and made an arrest on Enterprise Street on Jan. 24, 2019.
At the home, police found the prohibited weapons, cocaine hidden in jars and tins, and cash.

“In addition to the drugs and cash, the fact that these weapons are off the street is a big success for our drug section,” Chief Superintendent Deanne Burleigh said.
A 55-year-old Burnaby man now faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possesion of a prohibited weapon.
