RCMP ask public for help identifying body found in West Kelowna

Mounties in West Kelowna are asking the public for help after finding a body in the water near the Shelter Bay Marina Friday.

It happened at around 1:16 p.m. when RCMP got reports of a body at the west side of the William Bennett Bridge.

Officers soon found the body and are now asking the public for help identifying the deceased.

He is described as an Asian man, between 20 and 40 years old, of average height and with a slim build.

He was wearing a black-collared shirt and black pants.

Anyone in the area who may have seen a man matching this description are being asked to contact the Southeast District Major Crime Unit at 1-877-987-8477.
