Surrey triple-homicide victims identified: IHIT

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is releasing the names of the three people found dead in a Surrey home Monday.
IHIT says 56-year-old Xiao Yan Zhen, 58-year-old Li Li, and 24-year-old Daniel Li, all from Surrey, were found dead just after 12 p.m. in a Fraser Heights home.
The homicide team says it has been in close contact and is supporting the victims’ extended family.

“When we heard the tragic news, we were strongly shocked with profound sadness. In our memory, they were a happy family, loving each other. Thanks to police and all who provide us with support and help,” Zhijun
Li, on behalf of the family, said in a statement provided by IHIT.
“To respect the deceased, it is our hope that the acquaintances and friends of them do not disclose the details of the family to the public, and no photos of them appear in the media.”
IHIT says it is continuing to investigate the deaths, along with help from Surrey RCMP, the BC Coroners Service, and the RCMP Integrated Forensic Identification Section.
