The Odlum Brown VanOpen is Western Canada’s largest and most celebrated tennis event. It offers a total of $274,360 USD in prize money and provides players the opportunity to gain valuable world-ranking points on both the ATP Tour and WTA Tour.
It annually attracts 130 international and professional players from over 35 countries. Milos Raonic, Maria Sharapova, Andy Murray, Leylah Fernandez, Johanna Konta, Kevin Anderson, Eugenie Bouchard, Vasek Pospisil, Marion Bartoli, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Bianca Andreescu, Taylor Fritz, Naomi Osaka and Karolina Pliskova are among the top stars who began their careers at the Odlum Brown VanOpen.
It takes a strong community to make this professional tennis event happen and we need your help to make this the best tournament yet! We are looking for Volunteers to join us! There are a variety of roles to choose from.
CALLING ALL ENERGETIC BOYS & GIRLS TO JOIN THE BALL CREW. One key to Odlum Brown VanOpen’s success is the dedication and enthusiasm of our outstanding Ball Crew.
To become a member of our ball crew, boys and girls must be between the ages of 12 and 18, have experience playing tennis, and be available from August 12 to 21.
