“I mean it’s unprecedented the extent of the smoke and the density that we’ve had around the Lower Mainland this week,” he says. “And as that amorphous blob drifts back and forward you can get that temperature range anywhere from 10 to 12 degrees!”
But he says despite the hefty price tag, giving away money is actually one of the favourite aspects of his job, “actually, it’s awesome because our listeners are really engaged whenever we do the weather guarantee giveaway.”
