Pedestrian struck in hit and run in East Vancouver

A pedestrian has been left with life-threatening injuries after what police say was a hit and run in East Vancouver Wednesday night.
According to Vancouver Police Department, a pedestrian was struck just before 9 p.m. on Clark Drive near Grant Street.

Sgt. Steve Addison says police are now looking for a black vehicle that left the scene
“The vehicle will be missing a side mirror,” Addison said in an email to CityNews.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call police at 604-717-3012, and drivers should avoid the area while police investigate.
Addison says more information will be released Thursday.
