A Langley man has pleaded guilty in BC Supreme Court to killing three of his family members and then trying to burn the house down with their bodies inside.
The incident happened back in June of 2020, in Langley. The RCMP was called to the 19600-block of Wakefield Drive near Willoughby Way and found the home on fire. Officers say they found Francesco Zangrilli inside, with fatal stab wounds.
The bodies of Tatiana Bazyar and Befrin Ebrahimian were found a day later, also inside the house.
Kia Ebrahimian, Befrin’s brother, was arrested on July 10th of that year. He was 24 years old at the time.
The BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) then charged him with three counts of second degree murder in the homicides of his brother, mother, and her boyfriend.
On Oct. 3, 2022, Ebrahimian plead guilty to all three charges.
He’s scheduled to appear in court in December for sentencing.
