Mounties in Coquitlam have released photos of the suspect involved in an assault on a cab driver back in August.
The suspect allegedly struck the glass partition inside the cab with a beer bottle causing it to shatter. The driver suffered minor injuries to his hand, according to police.
RCMP said the assault happened around Sunnyside and East roads in the area of Anmore on Aug. 22.
“Everyone should feel safe in their workplace,” said Cpl. Alexa Hodgins in a Wednesday news release.
“In this instance, a taxi driver was assaulted with a beer bottle while working. This is unacceptable and we take these kinds of reports seriously.”
