A new driver has learned a lesson about speeding: it costs a lot of money.
Police in Abbotsford say the 17-year-old was clocked going 150 kilometres an hour in a 50 zone early Monday morning.

Not only was the car seized, but the teen now faces more than $1,000 in fines and has to explain to his parents where the car went.
The seizure comes as the Abbotsford Police Department says its weekend traffic enforcement program took 14 drivers off the road.
