Canada-U.S. border crossings becoming busy with long weekend traffic

It might be a good idea to pack some snacks if you’re planning on crossing the border on Monday.

As the last official long weekend of the summer comes to a close, the lineups at British Columbia-Washington border crossings are getting longer.

By 11 a.m., the Peace Arch Border crossing heading south had a wait of over an hour, while northbound was looking at around a 15-minute wait.

You can find southbound wait times here, while northbound wait times are here.

Border crossings are expected to get busier as the day goes on.
