BC Wildfire Service is asking people in the area northwest of Prince George to remain vigilant in the coming days, as weather conditions may cause increased fire activity through to Tuesday.
Forecasted westerly wind with gusts up to 40 kilometres per hour could affect wildfires currently burning in the Vanderhoof and Fort St. James zone, also known as the VanJam Fire Zone.
Hot and dry weather conditions are also contributing to the adverse weather conditions.
