Multiple morning collisions on Hwy 1 in Coquitlam cleared

Multiple collisions involving a number of vehicles created massive delays for commuters along Highway 1 in Coquitlam Wednesday morning.

Heading west, the multiple incidents were just west of the Port Mann Bridge and had the left lane closed.

Traffic is heavy and backing up from well past 152nd Street in Surrey after the collisions cleared before 8 a.m.

You can take the Pattullo Bridge as an alternate route.
