Traffic extremely heavy around airport, nearby outlet mall Tuesday

Anyone heading to the airport or the nearby outlet shopping mall Tuesday may report having encountered heavy traffic on the roads.
In a release, Vancouver International Airport (YVR) said it expected the increase due to both holiday travellers and people going to take advantage of Boxing Day sales at the nearby outlet mall.
The airport recommended travellers take the SkyTrain to go to and from the area to avoid any issues.
YVR said RCMP officers and traffic personnel were scheduled to be in the area to direct drivers.
The airport saw several delays early Christmas morning due to resource constraints at NAV Canada, which were resolved in the afternoon.
