The Expo Line was temporarily delayed Friday morning after a “track intrusion alarm” went off at Stadium-Chinatown SkyTrain Station just after 5:30 a.m.
TransLink said SkyTrains were running from King George Station to Commercial-Broadway Station, but commuters had to get off at that station and jump on a bus.
As of 7:40 a.m., the station reopened, with TransLink explaining that the “police incident” was cleared.
“Trains will resume normal operation but some delays as regular frequency is restored,” the transit provider said.
A bus bridge was temporarily set up for those going between Granville and Commercial-Broadway stations during the closure.
