Expo Line SkyTrain incident clears in New Westminster

Service on the Expo Line has resumed between Edmonds and New Westminster stations after a “medical emergency” forced a suspension Tuesday.

The incident was at 22nd Street Station, closing the station for several hours. TransLink reported just after 1 p.m. that the emergency was cleared and that the station reopened.

“Some gaps in service may be experienced as service resumes,” the authority explained.

A bus bridge that had been set up to help get people around during the closure has since ended.

The Millennium Line and the Canada Line were unaffected, TransLink says.
