Prince George teen killed in apparent homicide: RCMP

Police in Prince George say a 17-year-old boy has been killed after an alleged homicide early Thursday morning.

The Prince George RCMP says its officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Pine Street near 16 Avenue.

“The 17-year-old male victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but did not survive,” Corp. Sonja Bloom said in a statement Friday.

Mounties say three youths were arrested in relation to the fatal stabbing, and the investigation continues.

The RCMP is now asking anyone who may have information regarding the incident to contact the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300.
