In an update later Friday morning, Mounties shared that the RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit is on scene investigating.

“Investigators are working to determine all of the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Evidence-gathering is still underway, but initial indications are this was a targeted, isolated incident,” Corp. James Mason said in a statement.

No arrests have been made. Mounties are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the Surrey RCMP’s non-emergency line at 604-599-0502. They’re also asking for any dashcam or home surveillance footage from the area.
