Gas leak temporarily suspends Expo Line; SkyTrain service in Vancouver resumes

A gas leak in Vancouver temporarily impacted SkyTrain services Tuesday morning.

According to TransLink, Expo Line service between Main Street and Joyce Street stations was suspended due to the leak for almost an hour.

A bus bridge for Commercial-Boradway, Nanaimo, and 29th Avenue stations was assembled while trains weren’t running.

The bus bridge was cancelled just before 11:30 a.m., with TransLink warning of possible delays while train frequency resumed.

TransLink says the Millennium Line and Canada Line were unaffected.
