1 in hospital after roll-over crash on Vancouver’s Boundary Road

One person is in hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the border of Vancouver and Burnaby forced an SUV to roll over Monday afternoon.

Vancouver Fire Rescue Services says crews were on scene extracting people from vehicles at the intersection of Boundary Road and Normandy Drive.

CityNews images from the scene show two SUVs crashed and police blocking the southbound right lane of Boundary Road. A white SUV can be seen rolled onto its driver side.

BC Emergency Health Services says paramedics were called just before 3:15 p.m.

“Paramedics assessed three patients at scene. One patient was transported to hospital,” said BCEHS spokesperson Bowen Osoko.

Drivers can expect delays southbound.
