The Surrey Police Service says a man was taken to hospital early Thursday morning after being allegedly stabbed in the city’s Ocean Park neighbourhood.
The SPS says that around 12:30 a.m., a man approached White Rock RCMP officers near 140 Street and 16 Avenue, saying he’s been attacked by “unknown suspects” near 128 Street and 16 Avenue.

“White Rock RCMP rendered medical aid, and members of RCMP SPOSU attended. BCEHS attended the scene, treated the man’s injuries, and transported
him to hospital,” Sgt. Tige Pollock said later Thursday.
Pollock says the SPOSU General Investigative unit has picked up the investigation, and explains that the incident “does not appear to be random.”
