An investigation is underway after a person was hit by a train in Mission early Sunday afternoon.

A spokesperson for CPKC says it took place around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of Duncan and Gill avenues.

“This incident is under investigation,” the spokesperson said.

“The involved train moved from the area later Sunday afternoon.”

The status of the individual is unclear.
