VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – If you don’t keep up on the sex in your middle age, it could get downright dangerous in your golden years. Studies suggest sex and exercise can trigger heart attacks in older people, though doctors are very quick to point out the risk is pretty low.
People who exercise regularly have a much smaller risk of having a heart attack right after a romp in the gym or in the bedroom. Slackers should shape up gradually, especially if they are middle-aged.
Most patients in the studies were in their late 50s and 60s, but the findings are a warning for anyone in any age group, who is slowing down.
