VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — There has been a possible COVID-19 exposure at a Vancouver strip club this week.
People who visited Brandi’s Exotic Show Lounge between 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. on June 21 to 24 or 12:00 to 3:00 a.m. on the 25, are being warned by Vancouver Coastal Health that multiple people at the club during those times have tested positive for the coronavirus.
“There was no risk to anyone attending Brandi’s Exotic Show Lounge outside of these dates and times. There is no ongoing risk to the community,” the release reads.
As a precaution, the VCH is advising those who visited the lounge then to monitor themselves for 14 days.
“As long as they remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and they should continue with their usual daily activities. If you have no symptoms, testing is not recommended because it is not accurate or useful.”
If you start to develop symptoms of COVID-19 like the loss of smell, fatigue, loss of appetite, fever, cough, malaise, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea, call the Public Health Staff at 604-675-3900.
