VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A change is on the way for one of the major car sharing fleets in Vancouver.
Car2Go has merged with BMW’s car share service, to create SHARE NOW, which is set to eventually become a fleet of Mercedes, smart, BMW and MINI vehicles.
Chris Iuvancigh, general manager of SHARE NOW Vancouver, says there is no start date yet, but you may soon notice some rebranding.
“I think members are going to start to see the new logo over the next couple weeks. It’s not going to be the entire fleet right away. But in the next couple weeks, there will be some vehicles that will be adapted. Then over time, we’ll touch them all and get them all updated.
Car2Go has more than 200,000 members in Vancouver.
