A familiar voice was back on the radio Tuesday morning.
Drex returned to Jack 96.9 after having a heart attack late last year and admits things have changed.

“I went to bed to try and rest but it was too much,” he said at the time. “I was taken to hospital where I received a stent, I had a 100 per cent blockage.”
Drex says there’s been a lot of speculation about why he had a heart attack, but the reality is, it was diet and health related.

Drex’s only advice: if you’re older than 35, go to your doctor and get your heart checked.

According to the federal government, 2017-2018 data shows about one-in-12 Canadian adults 20 years and over live with diagnosed heart disease.
It notes heart disease affects men and women differently, adding men are twice as likely to suffer a heart attack than women.
Signs of a heart attack can vary. The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada recommends you call 9-1-1 if you are feeling any of the signs of a heart attack.
