IHIT says Ridge Meadows RCMP officers responded to a call about a dead man around 7:30 a.m. The death was deemed to be suspicious and IHIT was called in.

Police say Singh’s death is not believed to be related to the Lower Mainland gang conflict.

“We are still in the early stages of the investigation,” Sgt. Timothy Pierotti of IHIT said. “We are asking anyone who had contact with Mr. Singh on March 3, to contact IHIT as we continue to build a timeline of events.”
