Highway 1 through the Lower Mainland was a mess Wednesday morning after several incidents snarled traffic for miles.
A broken-down semi-truck temporarily blocked the right lane westbound on Highway 1 in Burnaby, and is backing up traffic into Surrey.
The truck was on the right shoulder just before the Gaglardi Way exit ramp.
