Burst pipe on BC Ferries vessel causes delay

A burst water pipe on a BC Ferries vessel caused a delay Sunday afternoon.

According to the ferries service, a pipe burst on the Queen of Cowichan, leading to a 39 minute delay to the 3:20 p.m. sailing from Departure Bay in Nanaimo.

Video posted online just after 4 p.m. shows water raining down from the ceiling onto a pickup truck on the vehicle deck on a BC Ferries vessel.

The ferries service says the pipe has been repaired.
