West Vancouver police incident in British Properties ‘concluded’

Police in West Vancouver temporarily asked the public to avoid an area surrounding a police incident in the district’s British Properties neighbourhood Wednesday morning.
While information is scarce, police say residents near King Georges Way and Eyremount Drive may have seen an “increased police presence and some restricted movement.”

In a statement to CityNews, Sgt. Chris Bigland said, “We are not providing any further information about the investigation at this time.”
“There is no increased risk to public safety at this time.”
In an update just before 11 a.m., the WVPD said the incident had “concluded.”
“Thank you for your patience and cooperation.”
